Register Alphanames has apparently gone out of business without warning. Customers are unable to modify, renew or transfer their domain names because the website is down.
ICANN has terminated the Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) with registrar Alpnames Limited (IANA #1857), effective immediately and is looking for another register to take over the customers.
The demise of Alpnames is a strong warning to choose a domain name registrar you trust to be in it for the long haul.
