Dream Diary

This is my record of some of the more vivid and unusual dreams that I have had. I no longer have the notes from an older dream diary and that is a pity because otherwise you would have descriptions here of my toon dream and my 1000-year epic dream that I had a few years ago.

My main goal in recording my dreams is so that at some later date, I can return to them and see if they mean or suggest anything. In my experience, unusual and highly abstract dreams tend to come at significant turning points in my life although I rarely see the connection at those times. Most of the time though, I tend to think of dreams as entertainment that is not to be taken seriously.

I dream both in color, and black and white. In the dream entries below, a designation of "faint color" means mostly white and grey with a few light shades of color. Dreams in dark or poor light settings tend to be in black and white. Note that this is consistent with eye physiology. Also, I should note that during the vast majority of my dreams, I neither know that I am dreaming nor am in perfect control of my thoughts and actions.
